IBM's U2 database
(UniData/UniVerse)
and
Microsoft's SQL Server database. Built on the .NET
platform and leveraging the capabilities of
Microsoft's SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
and Data
Transformation Services (DTS), SQL Accelerator
automatically moves data extracted from
a IBM U2 database and loads it into a Microsoft SQL Server
database using system generated SSIS or DTS
packages which are efficient and error-free. And
when used in conjunction with our
Kourier Integrator
product, your U2 dictionaries can be mapped to
SQL columns automatically.
SQL Accelerator is ideal for building
business intelligence and data warehouse
solutions (e.g.,
operational data stores, data marts, decision support systems). Once the
data is in SQL Server, you can take
advantage of the powerful desktop tools available for creating reports for decision
support systems or creating rich
graphical content for digital dash boards. By eliminating the
manual creation and manipulation
of SSIS / DTS packages, SQL Accelerator makes SQL
Server-based capabilities a practical enhancement to
your U2 environment.
SQL Accelerator can also be
used for data integration with other MS SQL
Server applications. For example, it's very easy
to load data used by a SQL-based CRM system with
data extracted from a U2 database or another
