Hardware and software Requirements

KommerceServer, which is the framework used by all webTeam solutions, can be deployed to a service provider or it can be hosted locally. In either case, your systems must meet certain minimum requirements listed below.

webTeam has the same base requirements as KommerceServer, and may additional requirements to support e-mail and templates depending on the server software version.

If you have any questions regarding these requirements or installation options, please contact us.

On Windows 2003 Server

  • PC Server w/ Intel Pentium processor w/ 512 MB RAM

  • Microsoft IIS 6.0 (Web, FTP, and SMTP)

  • Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 or SQL Server 2000

On Windows 2000 Server

  • PC Server w/ Intel Pentium processor w/ 512 MB RAM

  • Windows 2000 Server Service pack 1.0

  • Microsoft IIS 5.0 (Web, FTP, and SMTP)

  • Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 or SQL Server 2000

  • Microsoft XML 3.0 (Microsoft XML Core Services)

  • Microsoft ADO (Active Data Objects) 2.8

  • Microsoft CDO (Collaborative Data Objects for NT Server)

On NT 4.0 Server

  • PC Server w/ Intel Pentium processor w/ 512 MB RAM

  • NT Service pack 6.0

  • Microsoft IIS 4.0 (Web, FTP, and SMTP)

  • Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 or SQL Server 2000

Server Configuration
We strongly recommend that MS SQL Server and MS IIS are installed on a dual processor server or are installed on separate single processor server.

Software Customization
If you plan on customizing the KommerceServer or webTeam software, you will need to have an internal server that meets the requirements above. Microsoft Visual InterDev 6.0 is highly recommended for this development.
