Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop integrations between UniData/UniVerse (U2) applications and other best-in-class applications using REST APIs.
- Create U2 to Microsoft SQL Server data warehouse solutions using Kore’s Kourier Integrator software.
- Perform technical troubleshooting covering data migrations, interoperability, middleware, performance and product related issues.
- Will have varying responsibilities in all areas of application development and project lifecycle: requirements gathering, technology research, specifications, development, quality assurance, documentation and deployment.
- Work directly with clients on projects based on defined requirements and deadlines.
- Work with product managers to develop and support baseline software applications, often incorporating client-driven requirements.
- Work collaboratively with development team to achieve results that meet design and client requirements.
- Learn internal development tools and framework and comply with all development procedures, standards, and conventions.
- Responsible for the quality and support of all Kore solutions.
Technical Qualifications
- 4 or more years of software application development using UniBasic.
- Experience building integrations between U2 applications and best-in-class applications using REST APIs.
- Experience with UNIX, Windows Server and relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Rocket UniData, Rocket UniVerse).
- Experience with Epicor Eclipse, Epicor Prelude and Ellucian Colleague a plus.
- Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence skills a plus.
- Experience working as a developer in a software company a plus.
- Experience developing software solutions for manufacturing, distribution, education, healthcare or financial industries a plus.
- Ability to analyze or reverse engineer existing code in order to enhance or build new integrated systems.
- Ability to write clean, consistent, well-documented code following a previously established style.
